If you’ve been creating sites with CSS for a while you may be getting frustrated with having to recreate and retest basic layouts on a regular basis. In this article I’m trying to illustrate a simple way of skipping the tedious startup on your average project, letting you get to the interesting stuff as quickly and efficiently as possible. I’ve not attempted to explain the layouts included here so it may not be suitable if you’re a CSS beginner. Sorry about that… Feel free to dissect them yourself if you’re interested; I’ve kept them as simple as possible.

Last month automaker Toyota announced a recall of 160,000 of its Prius hybrid vehicles following reports of vehicle warning lights illuminating for no reason, and cars’ gasoline engines stalling unexpectedly. But unlike the large-scale auto recalls of years past, the root of the Prius issue wasn’t a hardware problem – it was a programming error in the smart car’s embedded code. The Prius had a software bug.

ADOdb is a database abstraction library for PHP. There is also a Python version; see the ADOdb for Python docs.

The PHP version currently supports an amazing number of databases, thanks to the wonderful ADOdb community: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Interbase, Firebird, Informix, Oracle, MS SQL, Foxpro, Access, ADO, Sybase, FrontBase, DB2, SAP DB, SQLite, Netezza, LDAP, and generic ODBC, ODBTP. The Sybase, Informix, FrontBase and PostgreSQL, Netezza, LDAP, ODBTP drivers are community contributions.

What it shows is the XMLHttpRequest debugging console, a floating div embedded in the page being debugged. This replaces the javascript console, which the previous script used for tracing.
Each individual XMLHttpRequest invocation will get listed there, with all the details on the request and the response, as well as options to edit and replay the request or replay the response callback.

The user script adds a menu command under “Tools” -> “User Script Commands” -> “Show XMLHttpRequest console". It is mostly useful if you click “hide” in the console menu.

A default Windows system comes with different network services, enabled by
default. Usually, it is wise to disable most of them and even all of them,
if the system does not offer network services to other systems.

Gnod is my experiment in the field of artificial intelligence. Its a self-adapting system, living on this server and ‘talking’ to everyone who comes along. Gnods intention is to learn about the outer world and to learn ‘understanding’ its visitors. This enables gnod to share all its wisdom with you in an intuitive and efficient way. You might call it a search-engine to find things you don’t know about.

Introduction

Photography is a complex field, and it can be difficult getting started. There’s a lot of material out there aimed at beginners, but much of it is quite general and doesn’t get into a lot of the specifics of a given camera maker’s product lineup. For example, Photo.net and Photozone.de are two sites with some excellent beginner articles, but these articles are fairly general in scope so as to be useful to as broad a range of users as possible. Many of the books on the market were written during the heyday of amateur SLR photography in the 1970s and early 80s and so don’t even talk about autofocus cameras. There’s more specific material to be had, but a lot of it is quite advanced in nature. For example, Bob Atkins has an excellent Canon FAQ available, but it has little beginner material and has not been recently updated.

So that’s the purpose of this document. It’s information on Canon EOS SLR cameras and related products, aimed at the beginner and packed with a lot of typical questions that beginners actually ask. And though it assumes you’re a Canon user or potential Canon user, much of the information here is still general enough to be of interest to users of other camera systems.

Note that I wrote this document because it’s basically what I wish existed when I was starting out. I’m not affiliated with Canon or any other maker, nor do I endorse their stuff. I happen to use some of their products as they work well for me, but that’s it.

The “vulnerability�? has been tested on the torrent trackers that use the torrentbits source code (I don’t know if it works on other trackers).
The idea of this this vulnerability is that you will sniff your torrent info using the HTTP Analyzer and with Firefox you will update your stats to the tracker being identified as a client. This is a simple and short tutorial that shows you how to do it, if you are “more” advanced you can use other tools to do it.

Programs that you need:
- HTTP Analyzer - http://www.ieinspector.com/httpanalyzer/
- Mozilla Firefox - http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
- User Agent Switcher Extension - http://chrispederick.com/work/firefox/useragentswitcher/

- And an bittorrent client.

Steps:

1. Install the User Agent Switcher Extension (the extension will be used to identify as a bittorrent client to the tracker) to Mozilla Firefox (if you don’t have Firefox, get it!).
2. After installing the extension go in Firefox to:

Tools -> User Agent Switcher -> Options -> Options -> User Agents

Click Add, write “BitTorrent/3.4.2�? to the Description and User Agent and then press “Ok“.

3. Then go to:

Tools -> User Agent Switcher and select the newly added User Agent, “BitTorrent/3.4.2�?.

4. Install HTTP Analyzer.
5. Get a .torrent file from a tracker that uses the torrentbits source code and add it to your client. (DO NOT START IT)
6. Start HTTP Analyzer and go to the “Start Logging” button, select “Select a process…“, choose your bittorrent client (Important: If you use Azureus, select the javaw.exe proccess from the list) from the list and click “Ok“.

7. Go into your client and start the torrent.
8. Now go into HTTP Analyzer, there you should see a GET request to the tracker.

PRADO stands for PHP Rapid Application Development Object-oriented. It is an event-driven and component-based framework for PHP 5. The very original inspiration of PRADO came from Apache Tapestry. During the design and implementation, I borrowed many ideas from Borland Delphi and Microsoft ASP.NET. The first version of PRADO came out in June 2004 and was written in PHP 4. AJAX Matters is an informational site about AJAX (short for “Advanced Javascripting and XML” or “Asynchronous JavaScripting and XML") and how these technologies are applied to web development.

What is xajax?
xajax is an open source PHP class library that allows you to easily create powerful, web-based, Ajax applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Applications developed with xajax can asynchronously call server-side PHP functions and update content without reloading the page.

How does xajax work?
The xajax PHP object generates JavaScript wrapper functions for the PHP functions you want to be able to call asynchronously from your application. When called, these wrapper functions use JavaScript’s XMLHttpRequest object to asynchronously communicate with the xajax object on the server which calls the corresponding PHP functions. Upon completion, an xajax XML response is returned from the PHP functions, which xajax passes back to the application. The XML response contains instructions and data that are parsed by xajax’s JavaScript message pump and used to update the content of your application.

AjaxAC is an open-source framework written in PHP, used to develop/create/generate AJAX applications. The fundamental idea behind AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript And XML) is to use the XMLHttpRequest object to change a web page state using background HTTP sub-requests without reloading the entire page. It is released under the terms of the Apache License v2.0.

PriadoBlender is a tool to let you distribute your PHP scripts as an executable EXEs. It is similar to the PHPCompiler that was available for a couple of months a year or 2 ago. PriadoBlender isn’t a true compiler in the computer science sense of the term. True compilers take the high-level code and turn it into machine/assembly code. Given any database schema, tables within, list of fields and properties, one ought to be able to build any kind of database backed applications in any programming language. Overview

Motivation
Object-relational mapping (ORM) is useful in developing web applications.

Many of us in desperate search for good ORM tools for PHP end up finding existing PHP persistence packages are either insufficient to address the problems we face, or unnecessarily complex that demand a steep learning curve that not many of us are able or willing to afford. And most importantly, we don’t see the existing tools providing satisfactory solutions that can work with existing code and/or databases. This is what got us started to work on an alternative.

The goal of this project is to design a lightweight and easy-to-use persistence solution for PHP. This is how the project got its name, Easy PHP Data Objects (EZPDO). Simplicity is the key. Constantly we keep the following requirements in mind when designing EZPDO.

It requires zero SQL knowledge1) and a minumum amount of effort in ORM specification.
It should work with existing classes and does not alter the source code.
It should only introduce overhead to a minimum to guarentee performance.

EZPDO is also a test-driven project with continous integration. More on that in developer’s guide.

Recursion in plain English
Recursion is the process a procedure goes through when one of the steps of the procedure involves rerunning the entire same procedure. A procedure that goes through recursion is said to be recursive. Something is also said to be recursive when it is the result of a recursive procedure.

To understand recursion, one must recognize the distinction between a procedure and the running of a procedure. A procedure is a set of steps that are to be taken based on a set of rules. The running of a procedure involves actually following the rules and performing the steps. An analogy might be that a procedure is like a menu in that it is the possible steps, while running a procedure is actually choosing the courses for the meal from the menu.

A procedure is recursive if one of the steps that makes up the procedure calls for a new running of the procedure. Therefore a recursive four course meal would be a meal in which one of the choices of appetizer, salad, entrée, or dessert was an entire meal unto itself. So a recursive meal might be potato skins, baby greens salad, chicken parmesan, and for dessert, a four course meal, consisting of crab cakes, Caesar salad, for an entrée, a four course meal, and chocolate cake for dessert, so on until each of the meals within the meals is completed.

It is important to note that a recursive procedure must complete every one of its steps. Even if a new running is called in one of its steps, each running must run through the remaining steps. What this means is that even if the salad is an entire four course meal unto itself, you still have to eat your entrée and dessert.

What is PageRank?
PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be. Also, the importance of the page that is casting the vote determines how important the vote itself is. What are Bilderberg Conferences all about?

The ideology put forward at the Bilderberg conferences is that what’s good for banking and big business is good for the mere mortals of the world. Silently banished are the critical voices, those that might point out that debt is spiralling out of control, that wealth is being sucked away from ordinary people and into the hands of the faceless corporate institutions, that millions are dying as a direct result of the global heavyweight Rockefeller/Rothschild economic strategies.

When looking at one of the (partially reliable) participant lists it should be remembered that quite a number of participants are invited in an attempt to get them on-board the globalisation project. These are carefully selected people of influence, who have been openly critical of globalisation. Examples are Jonathan Porritt (Bilderberg 1999) and Will Hutton (Bilderberg 1997) but there are many others. Most of these kinds of participants are happy to speak about the conference afterwards, and may even be refreshingly critical.

The Bilderberg organisers are accepted by those ‘in the know’ as the prophets of Capitalism. Will Hutton, deputy Editor of The Observer newspaper in London and left-leaning Economist, described private clubs of the elite as masterminded by ‘The High Priests of Globalisation’. The ecclesiastical allusion is not accidental. The Bilderberg high-priests are a force against good, out to wipe morality from the earth. For the organisers Bilderberg Conferences are an annual ideological assault by the world’s most power-hungry people. Not content with owning unimaginable amounts of money and property they want to use that wealth to acquire even more power for themselves. Power is the most dangerous and addictive drugs known to man. Will the craving be satisfied when a handful of men own and control everything on earth?

And just like the Nazi party in the 1930’s the global Capitalist Elite are rising in power by peaceful means. There are some very uncomfortable and unexplained connections between Bilderberg and the Nazis through the Conference’s founder Prince Bernhard.

These crown princes of capital use violence at the sharp end - the destruction of dissent - the repossession of homes men and women have worked a lifetime for - needless deaths from starvation and geopolitical machinations - this violence is notable by its absence from the annual meetings.

One can’t help but wonder, when the Bilderberg organisers, Rothschild, Rockefeller, Kissinger and the rest have completed their project of enclosing all global goods and services into their own hands, enclosing too the media to stop people freely discussing what they are up to. What then?? What happens when the men who would be gods turn out to be the global devils?

Who is behind Bilderberg?
Bilderberg is run by a Steering Group - if you’re wondering who’s responsible for so much of the capital-friendly and dissent-crushing law-making, poverty and general misery in the world this may be the place to look. Up-to-date lists are available from the Bilderberg Secretariat. This is the closest approximation to a shadow transatlantic government. And this is another hidden agenda at Bilderberg.

There may be other groups pulling the strings behind even the Steering Group possibly even high degree occult groups such as The Masons or Illuminati! [eg.] - but that is ‘conspiracy theory’, Bilderberg is not.

There must certainly be some sociopathic minds behind Bilderberg since they go to so much trouble to promote policies that lead to exploitation, inequality and despair. These individuals seem oddly switched off from the suffering they are clearly causing. Surely only pernicious people would want to control the ideology of the world’s mainstream press, and undermine natural political discourse. Public opinion and democratic institutions are a threat when you want to own the world.

The perverse objective of the Bilderberg Steering Group is to dress totalitarian ideology up to appear rational and push it out, unattributable, for mass consumption under Chatham House rules. Meanwhile, outside the Bilder-bubble, ‘god-is-money’ globalisation is the new religion. The greedy are given a pat on the back as they plunder both the earth and do their best to destroy the human spirit.

Phpcap was originally a light implementation of the libpcap which provides an acces to all the pcap functions, but it has been upgrade with a set of functions to break down, make and send custom network packets

The module is divide in two extensions, Phpcap and PktTool, phpcap just implements the Pcap functions for sniffing, and PktTool provides an access to several functions like pkttool_get_datalink() (which get the datalink header from a packet), or pkttool_new_tcp() (which build a new tcp header) and more…

You can monitor a specific action by sniffing with pcap function and then break down packets for analysis, or build a custom connection to a server, by coding your own packets sequence.

Of course, the source code is platform independant, it can be compiled on linux or windows without changes. But for convenience windows dll are available for download.

As a Web host, some key issues you will need to deal with when setting up a Web server include serving multiple domains on a single server, authorization, and authentication. In this second article on configuring Apache, Michael Swanson explains how to perform these tasks.
In the previous article in this series, we described how to set up a basic Apache Web server for simple, static HTML page hosting, and also explained how to create the virtual directory structure that Apache uses to serve files out on the Web. This article will address some of the more complex issues involved with configuring an Apache Web server. Specifically, we will address how to use virtual hosts to serve multiple domains on a single physical server, how to add modular functionality to handle specific types of files (server side pre-processing of files for things like PHP and Python), and how to use authentication and authorization schemes to control access to different parts of your website.

In the last 10 years the Internet grew very, very fast. It is a bunch of thousands of little networks put together. Billion computers are connected and it is basically not controlled or even owned by a government or company. There are no laws, everybody can put his webpages online which can be accessed by everybody on the world who is sitting in front of a computer with Internet access. I believe that this can and will change the world as we know it today.
But there are several governments who think that this unlimited access to information is dangerous for their citizens. These are for example China, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Cuba, Jordan, Tunisia, Burma, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Kuwait, Vietnam, Syria, Iran, United Arab Emirates and parts of Africa. and even in countries like Australia, Switzerland and in some parts of Germany they censor websites. This ranks from a very easy to circumvent DNS blocking of only 2 Nazi sites in parts of Germany to a government office with 30.000 employees only working in blocking thousands of websites, services and ports in China.
Though the blocking methods are different there are also different ways to bypass them. I will try to show you how to access the website of Amnesty International, BBC, Google and other blocked sites in your country. I made this website in very basic HTML, so that you can even view it with a very old computer. He came away with a beta version of Half-Life 2. “We heard about it,” says 23-year-old Frank, a well-connected media pirate. “Everyone thought it would get bootlegged in Europe.” Instead, the hacker gave the source code to Frank - it turned out that he was a friend of a friend - so that Frank could give Half-Life 2 to the world. “I was like, ‘Let’s do this thing, yo!’” he says. “I put it on Anathema. After that, it was all over.”

Anathema is a so-called topsite, one of 30 or so underground, highly secretive servers where nearly all of the unlicensed music, movies, and videogames available on the Internet originate. Outside of a pirate elite and the Feds who track them, few know that topsites exist. Even fewer can log in.
